国际通用三大写拉丁字母缩写词

本文简介三个国际性组织先后制订颁布的三套关于国名地区名代码（其中有一套使用三个大写拉丁字母构成）和关于口岸名及货币名各一套三大写拉丁字母代码，共五套国际标准，以及我国据此制定了相应的国家标准，旁及国际体育界以上述那套三大写拉丁字母国名地区名代码为基础创新的一些国名地区名乃至推广使用于表示球队名的三大写拉丁字母代码，认定其中有的已经被确立为国际通用三大写拉丁字母缩写词。为此建议我国出版的英汉词典应有选择地收录这些缩写词，我国传媒亦应从速熟悉并推广这些缩写词，以便更好地与国际标准和国际惯例接轨。

International contractions composed of three Roman capital letters

In this paper are introduced five sets off standardized codes initiated by the international organizations,including the sets of international standardized use for designating countries and regions (one of them being contractions made up of be Roman capital letters), and two sets of three-capital- letter contractions for indicating ports and other locations and for indication monetary units respectively. Also introduced are two national standards promulgated accowhngly by China,as well as those three-capi- tal-letter contractions added or reconstructed by international sports circles to denominate countries, re- gions and sports teams.
