| Abstract: | Farewell My Concubine is the masterpiece of Li Bihua,the famous Hongkong writer.The film,directed by Chen Kaige based on the novel,won Palm Award,the best film prize,on the France Cannes Film Festival in 1993.This article discussed the importance of Cheng Dieyi by comparing the novel and the film,analyzed the loss of humanity,and described Leslie Cheung's emotional trajectory.It also revealed the practical significance of Farewell My Concubine |
