书生立武勋——湘军功成的内在因素

湘军和太平军都以农民为主体,而且相对来说后者号称百万,人多势众,也更勇猛善战、意志坚定,可为什么最终是前者取得了胜利呢?其原因是多方面的,但一般侧重于检讨太平天国方面的失误与不足以及抨击清政府的"借师助剿"和外国侵略者的无理干涉等,而很少从湘军入手,探求其究竟是如何战胜太平军的。其实湘军功成有其深刻的内在原因,本文仅就湘军领导层的认识和作为来作番探讨,以从一个侧面探讨湘军功成的内在因素。

Intellectuals Performed Exploits The Reason Why the Xiang Army Succeeded

The Xiang Army and Taiping Heavenly Army were all formed from peasants,and the latter was stronger. But why the latter was defeated by the former?There may exists some reasons,however,most research works focused on mistakes of Taiping Heavenly Kingdom and the suppression of the government and so on.Little attention was paid to the Xiang Army and it's defeat.By analyzing the leaders of the Xiang Army,the paper addresses some reasons of it's success from a new perspective.
