The Cornerstone of a Harmonious Society: Equal Stress on Equality and Efficiency

The Fifth Session of the Party's 16th Congress emphasizes the enhancement of building a socialist harmonious society,takes forceful measures to adjust the incomes of the people at all levels,and lays stress on social equality.The paper holds that in order to achieve this aim we should,on the basis of equal stress on equality and efficiency,perfect the socialist guarantee system to implement the Party's demands and to make the whole people to enjoy the fruits of the reform and the opening to the outside world,which is the embodiment of keeping the Party members' advancement.
