CBI教学理念在大学英语教学中的实证研究

摘    要:本研究以实证方式讨论了CBI在非英语专业大学英语课堂中的应用,检验了在6个T方法的指导下CBI主题模式教学的实施效果。研究采用了定性和定量相结合的研究范式,搜集了课堂录像、调查问卷、测试和访谈等数据,从学生语言技能、课堂话语模式及语言发展其他能力等方面调查了CBI教学理念下的主题教学与一般主题模式教学的效果差别。研究结果显示,CBI教学理念在大学英语课堂的运用在提高学生语言技能和改善课堂话语模式上有积极效果,同时,该理念可以造就学生对主题的自我探索和培养学生思维能力。

Abstract:This study focuses on the appliance of CBI(Content-Based Instruction) in college English class among non-English majors. It aims to find out the teaching effect of this instruction which is guided by six"T" approaches. Qualitative and quantitative paradigms were employed with observation, interview, questionnaire and test, to collect data. The results illustrate that implementing CBI can help students with their language skills as well as their thinking ability, and improves the current classroom discourse pattern as well.
