| Abstract: | Discourse analysis has been applied to English teaching in reading aspect for many years in our country and we have achieved a lot. This essay intended to review discourse analysis from other theoretical points (Schema Theory of Reading and automaticity) dialectically in order to show it's advantages and make up for it's weaknesses. Thus, discourse analysis can serve the teaching of reading more effectively. |
