The implementation of informationized education in the western region aims at promoting education modernization. The construction of informationized education in most western region schools, far from being finished, lags behind that in those in developed countries and relatively advanced domestic areas as well. As present, it should be the high priority to develop and exploit the information resources that contribute to informationized education, promote the construction and management of information networks, train large numbers of high quality teachers with information skills, and accelerate the construction of informationization in the aspects related to education.
