民族概念的理论探讨

民族,是一个普世概念,但不同的国家或地区对当今民族概念的内涵常常有自己独特的理解。中国有自己的历史和国情,有自己传统的大一统的文化族群观,更有自己从实际出发的民族理论和政策,不仅形成了自己独具特色的学术体系,而且取得了协调民族关系、促进社会生产力发展的良好效果。每一个国家都必须根据自己的国情理顺国内的民族关系,才能推进社会的和谐发展。对于国外风行一时的理论,我们可以学习借鉴,但切不可盲目照搬。

A Theoretical Study of the Concept of Nationality

Nationality is a universally used concept but different countries or regions often have their own understanding of its connotations.China has its own history and status quo,its traditional national concept of cultural unification and its own theories and policies as well as its unique academic system.All this has led to good results in terms of coordinating ethnic relations and promoting the development of productivity.Each country should coordinate its ethnic relations according to the actual situations in order to promote a harmonious development of the society.We can learn some merits from the popular theories of the foreign countries but should not blindly follow them.
