大学英语教学中的“经济人”、秩序和制度问题探讨

本文利用西方经济学的基本前提之一——“经济人”假设和制度经济学秩序和制度的理论,探讨了在大学英语教学中由于教师和学生的“自利”带来的效率缺失问题,即传统课堂教学不能带来真正的产出,论证了传统的课堂教学实际上是“毫无秩序”的教学,提出建立“对不可预见和投机的行为会导致惩罚性结果的制度”是根本的解决办法。“经济人”对物质利益的追求,导致了社会经济的发展和进步,而这种“导致”是“经济人”从改善自身状况的愿望开始的。大学英语教学作为可以产生效益(隐性)的成产过程,应用传统的教学理论方法会忽视了教师和学生的“经济人”属性,实际操作过程中没有有效的“制度”,教学要求成为一个一厢情愿的文本。

Theories of Economic Man,Order and Institutions Applied in CET

Based on the Economic Man theory with the support of Institutional Economics,the paper claims the inefficiency in traditional CET with introducing the English-Speaking Project originated from Zhejiang Gongshang University.One of the theoretical advantages is the better explanation on the factor which essentially guarantees and impels the enhancement of the students' language competence.This paper attempts to address two research questions by the Order and Institutions analysis:(1) Economics can be applied to CET.(2) To establish the institution resulting in punishment on opportunism is the best way to guarantee CET.
