人类在21世纪面临着人口量的快速膨胀和质的结构性剧变。这必将超过地球承载力的阀值,使人与自然的矛盾更加难以调和,并由于人口结构的区域性不平衡,导致经济、社会、文化、生态、环境等诸多领域的一系列新问题,这就迫切要求人类最大限度地超越自身由于进化不完善的局限性,迅速建立起能拯救地球和最终拯救人类自己的、新的、被全人类共同接受、并自觉付诸行动的价值观。

Population of the world and human survival in the 21st Century

In the 21st century, human beings are confronted with a population explosion and a radical change, which exceeds the maximum degree of human's ability. Consequently, the contradiction between human and nature becomes severe, even to such an extent, that it is impossible to compromise. Also as a consequence of the imbalance of the population pattern, new problems would arise in the areas of economy, society, culture, ecology and environment. A new kind of value orientation is needed to help human beings surpass their own defect, due to the imperfect evolution, and enable them to save the earth and save human beings themselves in the end. The new orientation calls for the human society's acceptance, and the implementation in practice.
