| 摘 要： | 在界定翻译原则的基础上,比较了中西翻译理论史上最具代表性的三家翻译原则,即中国严复的“信达雅”、英国泰特勒的“翻译三原则”和美国奈达的“功能对等”原则,揭示出一条共同的翻译总则。

| Abstract: | In the light of the clarified definition of translation principle, a comparison is made between the three most representative and influential schools of translation principles, i.e. Yan Fu's "Xin (faithfulness), Da (expressiveness) and Ya (gracefulness)",Tyler's "three general principles" and Nida's "dynamic (functional) equivalence". The striking similarities prove the existence of a generally-applicable principle of translation. |
