再论文学理论的科学性品格

文学理论具有科学性。对科学的理解不应过于狭隘化,不能仅仅把自然科学视为科学,把18、19世纪实证科学的求真尚实规范理解为所谓的科学精神。科学性与人文性是不可分割的,没有非人文性的科学性。文学理论和自然科学共同追求着科学精神。文学理论的特殊性在于它与文化价值判断具有内在的生命关联。在今天讨论文学理论的科学性问题还必须正视和努力打破18、19世纪实证科学和由此形成的科学主义传统、机械世界观的思维定势。

On the Scientific Nature of the Literary Theory

Literary theory is science. Science is not equivalent to the "natural Science". We shouldn't take it for granted that the empirical pursuit of truth-value and norms is the so-called scientific spirit in the 18th and 19th centuries. Scientific nature is always contacted with humanity, and there isn't unearthly scientific nature. Literary theory longs for and embodies the nature of science as well as the science. Literary theory's feature lies in its conjunction with culture value judgment. We also ought to face squarely and break positivism and scientism thinking-formulary in the 18th and 19th centuries. The scientific nature of literary theory deserves a proper exploration in perspectives of affectivity and limitation. Likewise, we ought to keep alert not to fall in the culture trap of modernity and humanity in Europe or the States.
