| 摘 要： | 文章对120名大学一年级非英语专业学生词典使用策略及其与词汇水平之间的相关性进行了调查：从总体上看，学习者使用词典首先是查询词义，其次是查询用法；除一项策略使用场合变量外，其余策略与词汇量之间没有显著相关性。在对调查结果进行分析的基础上，提出了对今后研究的建议。

| Abstract: | This paper investigates the use of dictionary strategies by 120 freshmen of non-English majors in an attempt to find out if dictionary strategies are correlated with the subjects' vocabulary level.The findings reveal that on the whole subjects use dictionaries more for word meanings than for usages,and that there is no significant correlation between dictionary strategies and vocabulary size except for one variable.The paper then discusses the possible causes for the discrepancy between the findings and other related research results,followed by suggestions for future studies on this issue. |
