社会工作国际化发展与社工专业英语教育

Internationalization and ESP Teaching of Social Work

In the context of globalization, China social work practice and theory are influenced by various international factors. In this scenario, the professional value of social work is realized. English language is an important way in which every nation communicates with others in the area of science, technology, culture, and education. It is also a platform where Chinese social work develops and in which information in this connection is exchanged with foreign countries. English language varies depen- ding on different fields in terms of professional knowledge, professional norms, and employment customs. English for social work is demanding and challenging in terms of professionals＇ knowledge and vocational quality, and more demanding on Chi- na＇s internationalization of education of social work. English corpora, the purpose of which is to study natural language, are an effective and helpful tool for teaching English of social work.
