Abstract:This thesis examines the essential characteristic of Late Ming Dynasty's aesthetics of drawing.It is "to repose one's mind in drawing".It demands drawing to go beyond its physical dependence and become to show inner world.This aesthetics has two main meanings:one is "the theory of sincere emotion"; the other is "the theory of self-satisfaction".Xu Wei and Dong Qichang are their delegates.
