“语义特征”的定义和理据刍议

语义特征是语言单位相互联系或相互区别的语义要素,是语言结构概念化的结果并受交际活动中信息传递方式的影响.语义特征在很大程度上制约着语言单位相互组合的可能性以及组合的方式.语义特征的理据来自认知和功能两个方面.一个恰当的组合应该是既要在认知上具有理据性,又要在功能上具有得体性,二者相互约束,共同完成交流信息的任务.

SOME REMARKS ON SEMANTIC FEARURES

Semantic features are the semantic elements that connect language units together or differentiate them from each other. They are the result of conceptualization of language units and are influenced by the ways of information exchange in communication. The semantic features control,to a great extent,the possibilities and the ways of combination of language units. Semantic features are determined by human cognition and function of language units. To achieve communication purposes,the combination of language units should serve linguistic functions appropriately and observe human cognitive conventions.
