| Abstract: | The gardens of the Ming dynasty in the lower Yangtze valley have been developed and improved all the way, which all have been influenced by various elements. They are unique and excellent examples of ancient Chinese architectural system. They have set up the design concepts and methods for the classical gardens to follow. They are considered as important and indispensible part of the world garden architectur. |
