Features of Chines Language Literature in Thailand

Chinese language writers in Thailand spare no efforts to write in Chinese, which reflects their resistance to their language barriers and their attachment to the language and culture of the Chinese nation. They keep the memory of their indistinct native homes in mind by recalling the past in China. Under their pens, their native homes are reproduced spiritually but not materially. Therefore, Chinese language literature in Thailand shows its ethnical character and local flavour, and embodies its pluralistic fusion and complexity. Although Chinese language literature is created from a Thai angle, it is linked to the root of Chinese culture in a direct or indirect way.
