晚清军事近代化进程及影响探析

19世纪的鸦片战争开始把中国卷入世界资本主义体系,被迫打开国门但仍处于传统社会的中国从蒙昧中醒来,开始了向西方学习、救亡图存的艰难历程。中国的早期近代化,首先开始于国防近代化。军事近代化走在了中国现代化的最前列,新式军队在推动中国现代化建设过程中扮演了不可替代的角色。作为民族国家的主要象征,军队的强弱关系着一个国家、民族和社会的命运,而军队的强大与觉醒程度也直接影响到中国革命的发展。因此,研究晚清的军事近代化进程及影响,能使我们了解军队在近代化进程中扮演的角色,从而加强军队的现代化建设,更有效地发挥军队在国家现代化建设中的重大作用。

On the Process of Military Modernization in Late Qing Dynasty and Its Impact

China began to be involved in the world capitalist system since Opium War in the 19 th century,when it was still in a traditional society but had to open the door,wake up from ignorance and start the difficult course of learning from the West to save the nation so that it could survive.Learning often starts in the military field,so China＇s early modernization started in the modernization of national defense.Military modernization walked in the forefront of China＇s modernization,and new forces played an irreplaceable role in the process of promoting China＇s modernization construction.As military is the main symbol of a nation,its strength influences the fate of a nation,state and society.The powerful army and its level of awakening influenced the development of the Chinese revolution.So the study of military modernization in Late Qing dynasty can make clear the army＇s role in the process of modernization.Thus we must strengthen the army＇s modernization construction so as to make military play a significant role in modernization more effectively.
