| 摘 要： | 文章简要评述了格位理论,涉及Jacobs和冯胜利等人的观点。在此基础上,对英语和汉语句子中的双宾语所处位置及其变动作出解释,并指出该理论在解释双宾结构中的不足与局限。

| Abstract: | Case Theory specifies a range of positions to which case could be assigned.Active voice transitive verbs assign objective case to their object noun phrases.The finite Inflection constituent assigns nominative case to noun phrases in the subject slot,while inherent objective case is assigned to theme noun phrases in the second object slot for a ditransitive verb.The transfer from one slot to another may cause the change of case for the concerned noun phrase.The case filter ensures that all overt noun phrases(except those serving as predicates) have case.In this way,case plays a central role in determining the distribution of noun phrases. |
