| 摘 要： | 用委婉的方式表达“死亡”是人类语言中普遍存在的现象。作为人类认知世界的不可缺少的思维方式，隐喻在死亡的表达中起着重要的作用。英汉两种语言在死亡的隐喻表达方面既表现出一定的共性，也表现出因文化传统、生活经验、宗教信仰等的不同造成的差异性。对于两者的对比分析将更有力地揭示语言的隐喻共性以及隐喻的文化差异性。

| Abstract: | It is a common phenomenon in many languages to express death in a euphemistic way and metaphor plays an important role in this respect.Both Chinese and English see many metaphorical expressions of death.Similarly,both languages show many metaphors concerning death with the same source domains.At the same time,there are also many different metaphors for death in the two languages.A comparison of them will further show that metaphor is a common linguistic phenomenon and metaphors differ from culture to cultur... |
