摘    要:仁学指涉着:先秦伦理学思想;儒学指涉着:秦后出现的综合制度性现象和封建政治意识形态。前者是个人性思想,后者是集体性制度。儒学已随封建时代历史的结束而永远逝去,仁学则因针对人性心理特质而可普世长存。当前国学之战略性发展的一个根本的时代课题,是把“仁学”作为一个学科名目建立起来,用以取代极为含混的“儒学”名目。

Abstract:This paper appeals in earnest to the scholars of Confucianism for the revision of contemporary usage of two historical nouns,or for the differentiation of two signs in the history of Chinese thoughts.They are "theory of benevolence" and "Confucianism".Theory of benevolence is in reference to the ethical thought as individual thought in the pre-Qin days,while Confucianism is in reference to the phenomena of synthetic systems and the ideology of feudalistic politics as collective systems in the post-Qin days.Confucianism had passed away along with the end of the history of feudal age.However,theory of benevolence is able to exist forever since it fits in with the general mental characteristics of human nature.The basic question for the strategic development of Chinese national culture is to establish "theory of benevolence" as a discipline in place of the ambiguous "Confucianism."
