| Abstract: | In his "Fortress Besieged", Qian Zhongshu has taken up all together the artistic forms of satiric humor, metaphor,"voice-over" comments, etc. These techniques of expression attach aesthetic feelings to the ugly in "Fortress Besieged" and enable the realization of appreciating and criticizing the ugly and the evil. |
