| 摘 要： | 术语的翻译历来是科技翻译的重点和难点,而科技英语创生新词的能力又很强,新的词汇和术语不断涌现,怎样才能准确、简明、规范地翻译英语科技术语,提出了五种策略:音译、意译、音译兼意译、象形译和不译。为英语科技术语的翻译提出了新的构想。

| Abstract: | Terminological translation is a big problem of EST since many new terms are produced with the strong generating power of English.In order to translate these terms accurately,precisely and normally this paper summarizes five translating strategies: transliteration,free translation,translation of both pronunciation and meaning,pictographic translation and non-translation. |
