论儿童道德教育的底线

摘    要:中国传统社会是一个以道德为本位的社会,鲁迅发现这种崇尚"道德"的社会却在"吃人",以至发出"救救孩子"的呼吁。道德教育理论中一切以儿童为工具的那些漂亮口号是有待检视的。避免破坏儿童的生活应当成为儿童道德教育的底线。在以人为本的当今中国社会,道德教育理应以儿童为本位。建设以儿童为本位的道德教育理论体系,是中国教育改革的重任之一。

Abstract:The traditional Chinese society used to be a moral-based one, in which Mr. Lu Xun had, however, detected the essence of "cannibalism" and called for "saving the kids". This indicates that all those high-sounding guidelines observed in the traditional moral-education theories, characterized by instrumental- ism, are yet to be re-examined for legitimacy today, and that avoiding interference in children' s life should be the bottom line for their moral education. In such a humanistic society as China today, the moral education a- mong kids should be, out of question, centered on the latter as equal and dignified subjects. It is also one of the missions of China' s educational reform to set up a children-centered framework of theories for moral education among kids.
