校园多功能教学基地“中华名特优植物园”的建设

利用农科高校的校内教学用地,精心设计创建了具有六大功能的"中华名特优植物园"。此园占地7万多平方米,模拟中国及其34个省(市、区)的行政地图,按实际面积的比例划分建设成34个园,每个园分别种植该省(市、区)名特优植物并附有学名和功能的说明牌。此园具有如下功能:(1)教学功能。作为11个本科专业"植物学"课程的教学基地,平均每学期有1174位学生在此实习32学时。(2)科研功能。该园是全国主要名特优植物的种质资源库。(3)科普功能。可学习到我国大量植物精华及其科普知识与前沿成果。(4)运动功能。"国界线"宽1.8米,"省界线"宽1.2米,总长2136米。34个园均设立打卡器,上体育课时运动员在入口处刷卡后开始计时,跑遍"神州大地",即在34个园都刷了卡且所用时间最短的为优胜者。(5)社会功能。台湾高校师生来此园学习祖国大陆各省的名特优植物,增进了他们对地大物博的中华大地的了解,增强了他们的中华民族意识,该园也是学校对外交流宣传的特色平台,来宾在工作地的省园植树强化了他们对学校的深刻印象和美好记忆。(6)创新教育功能。该园有助于增强学生的创新意识,启发学生的创新思维,激发学生的创新灵感。

Construction of the campus multifunctional teaching base 'The Botanical Garden for Chinese Famous,Special and Superior Plants'

Using the land for teaching on campus of the agricultural university,we have designed and built'The Botanical Garden for Chinese Famous,Special and Superior Plants'.The garden has six main functions and covers an area of more than seventy thousand square meters.It consists of 34 gardens according to the Administrative Map of China,with each province garden′s area proportional to the actual area of its corresponding province.In each province garden,the famous,special and superior plants of the respective province are planted,with the cards indicating their scientific names and functions.(1)Teaching function.The garden is used as the teaching base for the botany course of the eleven undergraduate majors.On the average,there are 1174 students each term taking their practice class in the garden for 32 class hours.(2)Scientific research function.The garden is a germplasm resources pool for the main famous,special and superior plants of China.(3)Popular science function.It shows the features of plants in our country including Taiwan province,the popular science knowledge and the advanced research achievements.(4)Sports function.The width of the'State Boundary'is 1.8 meters,and the'Province Boundary'is 1.2 meters,and the total length is 2136 meters.During physical education class,34'province gardens',are all equipped with card recorders.The timing starts as soon as the students brush their cards at the entrance.The student who taps over the 'Divine Land',that is,brushing cards in all the 34 province gardens in the shortest time is the winner.(5)Social function.The teachers and students of Taiwan colleges and universities can come to the garden studying the famous,special and superior plants of all provinces,so as to learn more about the vast territory and rich resources of China and enhance their Chinese national sense.The garden also functions as the feature platform for external communication and publicity of our university.Visitors strengthen their deep impression and wonderful memory of our university as they plant trees in province garden.(6)Innovation education function.The garden is an example of innovation,which helps students to improve their innovative consciousness,enlighten their innovative thinking and excite their innovative inspiration.
