普通院校英语专业培养复合型人才现状研究

21世纪所需要的是语言基本功扎实,知识面宽,思路开阔,有一定相关专业知识,社会适应能力强的复合型英语人才。本文以此为出发点,通过问卷调查的方式,对所收集的数据从复合型英语人才要具有扎实的语言基本功,宽广的知识面和一定的相关专业知识以及较强的能力和较高的素质这几个方面进行了详尽的分析和讨论,研究了普通院校英语专业培养复合型人才的状况,明确指出目前英语专业的教学现状不容乐观,对学生在问卷中所反映的问题逐一进行了论述和原因分析,并在此基础上提出了一些建议,以求对探讨21世纪的大学专业英语教育有所裨益。

A Study on Cultivating Compound Talents of English Majors

The new millennium calls for compound talents of English majors who have a solid foundation of English,a wide range of knowledge,broad horizons,knowledge of related specialties and strong ability to adapt to the society.This paper,based on the questionnaire,analyzes collected data in detail in the following three aspects: compound talents of English majors should have a solid foundation of English,a wide range of knowledge and knowledge of related specialties,strong ability and high qualities,studies the status quo of cultivating compound talents of English majors in colleges and universities,definitely points out that at present the English major's teaching and learning is in poor condition,discusses problems which students reflect in the questionnaire one by one and puts forward some suggestions on language teaching and learning in hope that it can be helpful to exploring the English major's teaching and learning in the 21st century.
