| Abstract: | This paper makes summaries of previous researches on modern Olympic Games in helping the host cities expand their public recreation spaces,and concludes that the most above-all function of the Olympic Games does not lie in that it can accelarate the economy,but in that it helps to expand the host cities' public recreation spaces that could serve the people.This can be reference for Beijing to host the 2008 Olympic Games. |
