| Abstract: | A Collection of Stories Block_Printed by Qingpingshan Tang , a conserved edition of the almost extinct Sixty Stories block_printed by HONG Pian born at Qiantang in Zhejiang Province during the reign of Emperor Jiajing of the Ming Dynasty, contains many slang words which are believed to be in wide use during the Song, Yuan and Ming Dynasties. In this paper are interpreted some of these words in an attempt to make up a deficiency of An Unabridged Chinese Dictionary . |
