宗教文化在安抚人心、稳定社会、促进民族和睦、维护国家统一等方面，对构建社会主义和谐社会具有非常重要的作用。宗教与社会主义社会相适应，既是社会主义发展对宗教的要求，也是宗教自身发展的客观要求。因此，进一步推动宗教文化为构建和谐社会服务，发挥宗教文化对人的道德导向与心理康复作用，推动宗教文化参与和促进社会经济的发展，引导宗教文化对社会共同理想和政治共识的促进，是宗教在中国社会主义历史条件下的必由之路。

To Further Promote Religious Culture to Build Harmonious Society

Religious culture is very important to build socialist harmonious society, such as soothing people, making society stable, helping develop economy, promoting a relationship of harmony among ethnic groups and safe guard China＇s unity. The 17th National Party Congress claimed that we should fully implement the party＇s basic principle of religious culture and let those religious personages and religious believers play a role in the development of the country＇s economy. Region that goes with socialist society is the need of development of socialist and religion, which is the only way for China to develop religion under socialist historical conditions. Therefore, we should further promote religious culture to construct harmonious society, to play a role in the direction of ethics and psychological rehabilitation to take part in and promote the economical development and to help form the common social ideals and political consensus.
