| Abstract: | Based on Halliday's theory,this paper analyses the reference cohesion in the college student's English writings.It aims at analyzing the reasons for the errors in the employment of the reference cohesion by the students as well as detecting its characteristics and also suggests that the teachers of English writing should pay much more attention to the students' ability development in these respects. |
