Abstract: | In terms of the relationship between the lower confidence limits of reliabilities for system and component, using the finite Markov chain imbedding approach, we analyze the sensitivity of reliability for a linear consecutive-k-out-of-n:F system, a circular consecutive-k-out-of-n:F system, and a k-within-consecutive-r-out-of-n:F system. The analysis is based on two parameters: the number of experiments and the number of failed components. |
