| Abstract: | Yang Guohan had been a friend with Lin Zexu for fourteen years.They talk to each other, encourage each other and write to each other,discussing the opium-addict problem.After the death of Yang,Lin Zexu wrote the ilegiac couplet and epigraph for him,presenting an impartial comment on what he had done. |
