The paper discusses in details the conception of the texture of ornamental plants, its influence factors, changeability, relativity and classification. The paper gives an analysis of different visual and mental feelings of different plant materials including those of thick, rough and thin nature. Finally, the application of the texture of ornamental plants to the design of plant view is discussed. Based on all mentioned above, this paper illustrates the characteristics of the texture of ornamental plants and its potential application in landscape design to enrich the ways of creating plant visions and broaden the study fields of art theory in plant landscape design.
