| 摘 要： | 中国历史上抗金名将牛皋的形象,长期以来主要是借助话本评书等民间俗文学而深入人心。本文认为,俗文学作品中所塑造的爱说慌、吹牛、勇武粗莽、屡立战功的“福将”形象与历史上的牛皋有较大出入。牛皋骁勇善战,勇猛正直、忠义,有胆识、有器量,虽在重大问题上缺乏政治谋略,且嗜酒,但其一生从事抗金事业,志在保家为国,具有强烈爱国精神,为南宋重要的抗金将领。
