| 摘 要： | 关联理论认为人类语言交际的成功依赖于交际双方互相显映的认知语境。习语具有强烈的文化特征,具有异语读者认知语境中缺少的信息。翻译时,译者应充分考虑原作者与译文读者的认知语境差异,采用恰当的翻译策略,帮助译文读者理解原作中习语的交际意图。

| Abstract: | Relevance Theory holds that human communication depends on the mutual-ostensive cognitive environment. The idiomatic phrases are strongly culture-loaded, having the information lacking in the cognitive environment of the readers from the other culture. In translation, the translator should take into full consideration the differences in the cognitive environments of the source text (ST) writer and the target text (TT) readers, using appropriate strategies to help the TT readers understand the communicative intention of the idiomatic phrases in the ST. |
