关于民族关系主流问题的学术讨论

上世纪80年代以前,学术界在有关民族关系主流问题的讨论中,主要提出了友好合作或互相打仗是民族关系主流的两种不同的观点。1981年,白寿彝和翁独健等人提出各民族共同推动历史前进是民族关系主流的新观点以后,有人赞成,有人反对。产生歧义的主要原因是由于学者们对民族关系主流的概念理解不同所致。笔者认为,如果按照民族关系主要包括战争与和平两大方面来分辨主流和非主流的话,和平相处无疑是民族关系的主流。
