| Abstract: | Located on the upper stream of You River of west Guangxi,Baise is the junction of Yunnan,Guizhou and Guangxi provinces.It is the typical old,less,remote,mountainous,poor area,but its city language is Cantonese,for the reason is the influence brought by a large number of Cantonese merchants who came to Baise to get into business along the You River in early modern China. |
