| 摘 要： | 从合同英语的词汇特征和句法特征来分析合同英语的文体特,并基于大量的典型事例的分析,从古语、专业术语的使用等几个方面论述了合同英语的词汇特征。阐述了合同英语的句法和语法的以下几个特征:常用较长的复合句、名词化结构、条件句等。

| Abstract: | The author analyzes the stylistic features of language used in English contracts from lexical level and syntactic level.The lexical features of contract English are Frequent use of archaic words,Choosing the technical terms,Using "shall" so as to enhance the tone and so on.In syntactic level,there are so many features for example,statement-type sentences,long complex sentences,nominalization and condition clauses.Analyzing the preceding stylistic features of contract English is beneficial to draft English contract,translate Chinese contract into English,read and understand English contract. |
