Study on University Library Construction Serving for Discipline Construction in an Era of Information

This article has analyzed the close relations between the university library and the discipline constructions of institution of higher education. Contents and methods of serving for discipline constructions have been adjusted by university library in an era of information, including the investigation and resea~h of discipline information, construction of literature resource on the specialty of discipline, integration of the resources, setting up subject librarian system of discipline, and promoting the scientific research activities of information management and in relevant fields.
