基于对16种受国家社科基金资助的经管类学术期刊的比较，得出如下结论和启示：期刊集团化是经管类学术期刊做大做强的必然趋势。主办单位虽与期刊竞争力无必然联系，但仍会对其产生重大影响。新闻出版行业领军人才对经管类学术期刊竞争力的提升起着至关重要的作用。“卷首语”彰显学术期刊立场，有助于提升期刊竞争力。办刊理念决定了学术期刊的办刊方向、栏目设置和用稿取向，是期刊竞争力的源泉之一。栏目设置虽与期刊竞争力无关，但与之关联的学术期刊关注的问题域与期刊竞争力关联甚密。经管类学术期刊的影响力可从影响对象和影响范围两个维度来考量。在扩大影响力方面，经管类学术期刊除提升“内功”外，还应借助新媒体的力量．进行二次传播。
