The leading industrial sectors and the takeoff of modern economy in Sweden

Sweden had been an backward country dominated by agricultural economy before 19th century seventy years,but her economy entered the stages of takeoff and self-sustained growth rapidly since the leading industrial sectors,such as timber,wood pulp and engineering industry were founded successively from then on. The transition from traditional agricultural economy to modern industrial econimy has come to the truth in Sweden in the beginning of 2Oth century. The successful experiences of Swedish economic takeoff provide a useful reference for the bui1ding of socialistic modernization in our present country.
