| Abstract: | A contrastive study is made of the British tradition of compromise and the golden mean of Chinese philosophy. The similarities and differences are explained and analyzed in terms of cultural characteristics, historic events and political philosophy with a view to deepening understanding of the Chinese traditional Culture and promoting its creative transformation along with a meaningful scrutiny of an important aspect of British tradition. |
