Roman education was carried out within families in the early Republic.It is a enlighten education for children by parents and private teachers.Its contents were morals admonishment and knowledge education.There were primary schools in Rome in the mid-three century B.C.After that Rome formed gradually an education system of three clear-cut phases,namely primary education,grammar education and rhetoric education.The education system of three clear-cut phases established the basic formation of Rome education.
