对世界新闻传播秩序的审视

以美国为代表的西方发达国家与广大发展中国家 ,对建立世界新闻传播新秩序存有分歧和对立。美国主流媒体对发展中国家的报道具有两面性。各国政治、经济、文化的差异导致世界性的新闻自由流通受到制约。在经济全球化和高新技术日新月异的当今 ,需以新的理念即“信息传播 :从知识论的话语切入”看待全球化背景下的世界新闻传播新潮 ,发展中国家在建立国际新闻传播体系的策略方面 ,似应不拘泥于绝对的平等 ;东西方应以理性和新视角作出互补 ,达到共存。改善全球新闻传播生态所需要的是国际合作

New World Information Order Reconsidered and Expounded in the Era of Globalization

The western countries represented by the United States and the developing countries have different and even contradictory viewpoints over the establishment of the New World Information Order. The coverage about the developing countries in the mainstream media in the US has dual characteristics. The political economic, cultural and ecological discrepancies have led to the blockage of worldwide news spread. In an era of economic globalization and high-technology advancement, it is therefore necessary to convert the old concept of ideology discourse into the new concept of knowledge discourse to look at the new trends of international news communication in the context of globalization. Developing countries should not confine themselves to absolute equality in making their strategies on the establishment of the new world information systems. With a rational and new perspective, the East and the West should achieve co-existence by becoming mutually supplementary to each other. International cooperation is what is needed to improve the global ecology of news communication.
