县域经济是指在县域行政区间或其经济空间范围内的经济,包括县、市(县级)、区经济。2004年县域经济在全国经济总量中占55.15%,人口占全国总人口的70.9%,在我国国民经济中占有举足轻重的地位。我国有70%以上的人口生活在县域,可见,县域的城市化是实现中国城市化的基础与关键所在

Correlation Analysis Between Urbanization and County Area Economy

This paper is to establish an indicators system which is applied to evaluate the development of county area urbanization;and then,uses canonical correlation analysis to analyze correlation between(urbanization) and county area economy.At last,four conclusions are got: Firstly,growth rate of GDP is not the main indicator of measuring count area economy;Secondly,county area urbanization in Hubei province is at the primary Stage with secondary industry which is the main power to improve the development of economy and(urbanization);Thirdly,the basic function of the development of agriculture is very significant to accelerate the county area urbanization;Finally,education becomes more and more important in the development of county area economy.
