小康社会与西部偏远贫困地区少数民族基础教育

摘    要:西部偏远贫困地区少数民族基础教育中存在着三个突出问题:义务教育不义务、基础教育不基础、语言文化障碍。要解决这些问题,就要处理好东部与西部、公平与效益,数量与质量、主流民族与少数民族等方面的关系。

Abstract:Through an investigation in the poor and remote regions of west China, the author has found that there are three serious problems concerning the elementary education for the minority groups: the compulsory and elementary education there does not deserve its name, and the linguistic and cultural dilemmas. The author also discusses the relationship between social justice and the building of a well-off society for all, and puts forward some new perspectives for the study of the elementary education for the minority groups.
