简论中国人的隐私

中国人非常看重隐私，尤其是看重群体隐私，这是其隐私观念独特的民族性。本文从文化差异的角度，分析了中国人隐私观念与西方人的异同，批评某些论者否认中国人有隐私的论点；指出中国人隐私的核心是集体主义，圈内外和圈外人的二分法是确保群体隐私的原则。

On the Chinese Concept of Privacy

Chinese attach great importance to privacy, especially group privacy, which is the particularity of this concept of China in comparison with the concept's universality. By analysing the similarities and discrepencies of the Chinese concept of privacy and that of Westerners from the perspective of cultural differences, this paper criticizes the argument on non-existence of privacy concept among Chinese,and indicates thereupon that collectivism is the nucleus for Chinese privacy, and that the dichotomy of in-groupers and out-groupers is the basics for ensuring group privacy.
