Contradictions between Population Growth and Environmental Protection in Southern Jiangsu Provice and Some Countermoves

In this article the author mainly discussed the pollution in Southern Jiangsu Province which, he believed, has become a serious problem for the entire society during the course of population growth and economic development. He concluded that population and other manmade factors are the decisive ones in producing pollution in the area. He proposed to increase the awareness of the need to protect environment among the people here and take comprehensive measures in dealing with the problem.
