民进党执政后的台湾经济态势分析

民进党上台四年来,台湾经济从中速发展逆转为负增长和低速增长,处于衰退和低迷之中。其原因主要在于:内部政局和社会动荡影响投资者的投资意愿;台湾当局以"台独"意识形态处理海峡两岸关系,使两岸关系僵局无法缓解,外资对台投资大量减少;近两年国际经济不景气,使台湾出口贸易受阻,只依赖对中国大陆和香港的出口增长来维持其经济正增长的局面。前两个因素如果不解决好,台湾经济要恢复到过去的中速增长是困难的。

An Analysis of Taiwan''''s Economic Situation After the Democratic Progressive Party Took Over the Power

Since the Democratic Progressive Party took over the power four years ago, Taiwan's economy has developed from the intermediate-speed growth into the minus growth and the low speed growth and stayed between the recession and the doldrums. The major reasons are (1) the disorder of the political and social situations in Taiwan which influences the intention of the investors; (2) Taiwan authorities deal with the relationship between both sides of the Taiwan Straits in accordance with its ideology of "Independent Taiwan" and as a result, the deadlock of the relationship between both sides of the Taiwan Straits cannot be broken. Therefore, foreign investment has decreased; (3) international economic recession in recent years blocks Taiwan's exporting trade and therefore Taiwan has to depend on the growth of export to both the Chinese mainland and Hong Kong to keep its economy going up. But it would be difficult for Taiwan's economy to go back to the intermediate-speed growth if Taiwan did not properly solve the problems mentioned in (1) and (2).
